Dr. Angelo Spataro has returned to the office of Drs. Kadziolka and Smart, his original mentors in Optometry. He previously worked here from 1999-2004 as well as summer locums after that. He returns with additional work experience from California and Ontario. Angelo was raised in Dawson Creek and still has many ties to the community. His two daughters were born here and his parents still live here. After high school graduation from South Peace Senior Secondary he went on to do his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Alberta. His optometry program was done at the University of California at Berkeley. Some of his internships include Travis Air Force base, Sacramento VA hospital and Lovelace Medical Center, Albuquerque New Mexico. These internships provided him with valuable experience in ocular disease and patient management. When not in the clinic Angelo enjoys spending time playing basketball or skiing with his daughters .
